Below the line are the good things which are helping me through the cancer - the many loving friends, the beautiful view from my house, plants, music, my new grandson.

Above the line are the difficult things. The loss of income and fitness, uncertainty about my religious faith, the fear of dying while my chronically sick son and baby grandson need me.

In the circle are the things which I'm not ready to leave - loving friends, my sons, daughter-in-law and grandson, music, the countryside and my tentative religious faith. At the top of the picture are things which I used to consider important - travel and earning money. Then at the bottom, the track represents life's journey, with a gap where it may be abruptly cut off for me but the hope of bridging that gap and reaching old age. The blackness on the right is my fear that the cancer may have spread.
